Indians willing to travel more in search of soulmate, says research

A recent survey claimed that Indian are willing to travel more to find a perfect soulmate.

The statement seemed a false claim and made me wonder 'why in the world'. In India, marriage is a sensitive issue. Where most parents think of finding a partner for you, "willing to travel more to find a perfect soulmate" idea appears to be untrue.

The other two things that make me disbelieve the idea are money and time. How long are you going to travel/invest to find that perfect mate? What about the travel expenses; how are you going to manage that? Also, being logical and practical isn't the solution to 'finding the perfect soulmate' problem. Of course, travel is also a validifying idea in the search, but then comes two of the most important issues: money and time.

If given an option, who would deny traveling for love? It sounds like a perfect story you could narrate to your children and the grandchildren in future. But, is it for real? How many of us are willing to give up on our job and career to travel and find a perfect soulmate. You are lucky if you have a traveling job because traveling is expensive without a job. For rest of us, we still need to find such a job.
