Is there a difference between UX and UI?

With so many websites available on the World Wide Web what makes your companies portal stand out from the rest? Is it a good design? A great content? The list of services or anything else.

To be true, It is the complete user experience that can attract and reduce the bounce rate and can help your website gain an edge. Do not believe it? Let us see.

Trust the report by Jozef Toth, Senior UX/UI Consultant at Pfizer- he mentioned that 88 percent of online customers do not return to a website if they undergo a bad experience and the first impressions(94 percent) are related to a website design.

So what is UX and UI? Are they intermingled or completely different? Let's find it out

UI refers to the user interface that includes  pages, visual elements, screens, basically, all that helps in the user interaction with the device.

On the other hand, UX is about User experience, i.e. customer experience that he undergoes as he comes in interaction with the company's offerings.

If you want to understand the difference between the two different professions then you can find UI designers working on apps, websites, wearables and other. Their list of responsibilities includes designing layouts and visual elements for a digital product interface.

UX on the other hands is inclusive of the procedures that an individual undergoes as he discovers companies product, the sequence of activities they do to interact with the interface and the thoughts and feelings they have as they complete a task and much more.

For a website to be customer friendly and popular there is the need for both UI and UX optimization.
