The 90's game was announced to launch for iOS devices on seventh of September last year, but we are expecting Nintendo to release the game for Android users as well. As per sources, Nintendo is planning to release it on Android this year, but the release date is yet unsure.
And as for the Windows users, they might have to compromise with the game as they are never likely to see the game on the platform. The game was officially launched on iPhone on the fifteenth of December 2016 and is playable on iPhones and iPads. It is free to download and was released in 151 countries.
However, the game comes with a few drawbacks giving limited access to each mode or stages and requires an active Internet connection to play it. Further, it cannot be accessed offline. It also requires you to make in-app payments to fully access the game.
Despite the lackings, it had crossed 50 million downloads on iOS, just four days after the launch. Who wants to forget Mario and Luigi dash over grasses, collect coins and save the princess?
