In the fourth ODI against West Indies, MS Dhoni played an unlikely knock as India was chasing a paltry 190 runs. Despite the measly target, MS Dhoni, who is considered to be one of the best finishers of this generation, could not take India home.
His innings was very unlikely. He reached his fifty off 108 balls with just one boundary and a strike rate of 46.30. This was the second slowest fifty overall by an Indian in ODI history. Add to that, his disappointing performance in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy against Pakistan just a few weeks ago.
It is not difficult to see that Dhoni is not on the same level anymore and is it perhaps time for him to call it a day? What do you think of his capabilities as a batsman and more importantly as a finisher? Please share your opinion with us in the comments below.
