Hands down, my vote goes to BOT technology. It is slowly becoming a major trend in the market and will soon rule the industry of technology, with most adopting the form of technology to carry out their day to day practices. And why not! It makes work easier, more efficient and does not require too much effort.  However, this is also lead to having more couch potatoes in our lives. But whatever it is, I feel BOT technology will revolutionize the existing technology in the market and transform  the face of tomorrow with brighter chances of growth and innovation.

I feel that the App economy has been gauging a phenomenal response in 2017. A number of mobile trends have come up to the surface and are contributing towards redefining the digital landscape. Technology is  already brimming with innovation and I can't wait for 2018 to see some more phenomenal mobile development trends. Out of all the mobile development trends that are going to dominate the year 2018, I feel that accelerated mobile page (AMP) is going to prove the biggest game changer. AMP is  a stripped-down version of HTML and is the result of latest project of Google which is set in collaboration with Twitter. AMP is set up with the aim of accelerating the speed of mobile changes. AMP is a phenomenal tool to create amazing websites and web apps. These web apps and websites have fast loading speed, high performance and lower bounce across all mobile devices. The open-source initiative is a publishing technology that allows a higher performance to the web contents and ads running on a site. I feel that AMP is going to bring an impetus in the App economy.

Dear Reader,

Thank you for posting the query here. On browsing through the upcoming mobile application developments, we came across a few trends that may be a blockbuster hit in the year 2018. While AMP and other mobile developments apps such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) are some common and most awaited trends of 2018, let’s explore some other trends that are gearing up to feature and rock the technology sector in the coming year.

#1. AI in App Development

With AI making its debut in all sectors, it would rather be interesting to witness the touch of AI (Artifical Intelligence) in the mobile app technology. From Virtual Personal Assistant (VPA), cybersecurity to IT services, each and every process will incorporate AI in its system and operating service.

#2. Blockchain

It’s time to bid adieu to data tampering with this interesting innovation in technology! Blockchain has emerged as a new trend among tech-savvy professionals who wish to create a shareable and unalterable ledger for company’s information. This trend will allow the company to process their data, with giving minimum room for edits and modification, which will ultimately help in increasing transparency.

#3. Predictive Analysis

The future is here! Tech Giants such as Google, Apple, Facebook among others have already signed up for installing Data Analytics software. If you do not know what it offers, it is integrated with AI and Machine Learning that help in predicting the future of the company on the basis of the information collected and the existing market trends.

#4. Lazy Loading

Say goodbye to the days when it takes minutes to load an image on a page you wish to visit! With the invention of this new trend, all that’s now in the past. The creators of ‘Lazy Loading’ have developed software that allows images on a page to load only when it’s their turn to feature on the page. This way, one can increase the bounce rate and the conversion rate by offering faster access to the page.

#5. Business Bots

We have already started using business bots in our day to day activities such as asking for navigations, calling a contact or typing a message. However, in the coming year, Bots are going to become the next big thing in the industry with most companies endorsing the development to increase productivity and efficiency. So, pull up your sock as you will soon begin to delegate work to these software integrated machines and make your life easy.

#6. Cloud Services

Although Cloud technologies have begun to feature in the present year, however, its ultimate potential will be exploited in the coming year when most companies will begin to depend on the service for greater and faster operations. Not just that, with 5G in place, this will be a walk in the clouds, smooth and swift.

#7. Cyber Security

With concepts like Data Phishing and Data Breach picking up lately, it is becoming important to build a compact security code to protect the information on the electronic media. For this, new and effective security apps will come into force to ensure safety to the users and encourage them to participate on the digital platform a little more than usual.

We hope the information provided will be sufficient to clear your doubts and answer your query. We look forward to more such interesting questions from your end.

2017 has been a remarkable year when it comes to mobile applications. The coming year. 2018 is yet to see some breathtaking benchmarks which will leave everybody surprised. We have made everything from grocery shopping to budget planning come online on our mobile screen. There is nothing that we cannot get at the command of our one click on our cell phones. The big companies are realizing the importance of having a user-friendly app as it gives a boost to their revenue. There are a lot of trends in the app development that is going to make things even better in the market.
I am listing some the best trends upcoming in 2018 -

1. Accelerated Mobile Page (AMP)
Since the time Google has introduced Amp, the loading of the pages has become so quickly. It is a project started by both Google and Twitter. The apps that are supported by AMP load very fast and have a very less bounce rate. Since the users always prefer things that save their time, AMP is going to be a huge trend in the coming months.

2. AR and VR apps
The full forms are Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Applications. This technology helps in creating an indirect view of a real world by making similar sounds and images appear in front of the user. Till now we all have seen this in entertainment and gaming. There will be a huge growth of apps that use this technology especially the ones in engineering and real estate.

3. IOT and Wearable Apps
IOT or Internet Of Things is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other things which can function by exchanging signals. We are living in a world where we have smart homes and smart offices. So the year we are looking forward to having apps which can operate the daily use things from a mobile. Although it will take some time for this it is definitely staying in the market.  Apple watch apps are already expanding and will continue rising.

4. M-commerce
We have become familiar with shopping online for things that we need on a daily basis and then using our card or internet banking to pay for that stuff. But since ApplePay and Google Wallet has come, people seem to be shifting to m-commerce and we do see a bright future for this tech in mobile apps too.

5. App Security
We need more security on our apps as it contains a lot of personal data including our contact details and card information. Therefore we will be seeing apps with built-in security features which protect consumer data.
