Natural ways to recover after c-section.

Giving birth to a baby is a tough work. C-sections are hard to recover. You will be given a liquid diet on day one. On day two you will have to get up from your bed and move a little. Physical activity helps you in bowel movement and circulation. You will be advised not to lift anything heavy. 

Here is how you can heal after c-section -

# Lemon water - Consume a glass of fresh lemon juice on the first day. This will help in flushing anesthesia and medications.

# Fruits and vegetables - From the next day start consuming lots of fruits, vegetables and nuts. Consume lots of iron rich and vitamin C rich food. Iron is good for blood loss. Vitamin C has infection fighting properties.

# Frankincense essential oil - This has the ability to heal scars. It also helps in reducing stress. Keep your scar dry and clean. Apply Aloe Vera gel and vitamin E ointment.

# Lavender essential oil - Lavender essential oil can be used to ease pain and itching.

# Coconut oil - It has great moisturizing and antimicrobial properties.

# Sleep - Sleep helps your body to regenerate and repair the tissues.

# Glutamine - Glutamine helps in healing and multiplying of white blood cells. It helps your immune system.
