Rajinikanth Drops Some More Hints: Should Thalaiva Finally Join Politics For Good? #WhatsYourVerdict

Speculations related to superstar Rajinikanth entering the world of politics have been rife for long. And, with the actor dropping hints after hints (read: statements) related to his opinions on the current political state as well as the leaders, we can say not all can be mere speculations, right?

On Friday, Rajinikanth once again kick-started the debate on it when he said that Tamil Nadu has good leaders, "but the system itself is rotten."

“Cho Ramaswamy used to say that Mr. Stalin will do wonders if he is given a free hand. He is a good administrator. Anbumani Ramadoss is also a well-educated man with good ideas. Seeman's ideas have amazed me at times. But, the system itself is rotten. Democracy is rotten,” he said.

Making his fans break out with a thundering applause, the Kabali star further added, "I have my profession, my job. I have some responsibilities and you have your jobs. Go back to your respective places and do your job. Let's meet when it's time for the war."

The Tamil actor, who was born and raised in Karnataka, also shot down the comments that called him an 'outside'. Talking about the same, the superstar said, "Even though I am from Karnataka, still you have accepted me and you have made me into a Tamil. I am a pure Tamil now."

"I lived in Karnataka for 23 years and Tamil Nadu for 43 years. Although I came as a Marathi from Karnataka, you people nurtured me, made me true Tamilian," he added.
