Dear Reader,
Thank you for posting the query here. On considering various views and opinions, we got to the conclusion that teachers should be graded in order to create stability between the teachers and students. But then again there will be certain problems as students can become dominant and undisciplined.
#1.  Teachers Cannot Be Partial Then
If students get an opportunity to mark their teachers just as the teachers do, the discrimination sometimes faced by students can be ameliorated to a certain extent. The teachers would not favor any student for the fear of being graded badly. This can prove as a deterrent for the teachers? Why should only students suffer? Why do they have to be at the receiving end at all times? Teachers should also be judged but there should be certain terms and conditions for marking their performance.

#2.  Teachers  Would Be Punctual
Some teachers have a very nonchalant attitude and they show no interest. They, in fact, berate students if they come late to class. If students start grading their teachers, the teachers would be more disciplined, regular and punctual. Also, students will learn something in the process. They will get to know the reality and might understand the fact that it is always easier said than done. Therefore, when students will mark them, they will ensure who is punctual and who is work-shy.

#3. Healthy Environment
A balanced environment is created when the relationship is mutual. You reciprocate in terms of grading. The entire atmosphere gets a positive vibe as there will be no complaints. Also, the teachers won’t be able to hold any grudges. Nor will teachers punish students when they do something trivial stuff. Such things must be ignored by teachers. Also, students should be told beforehand that this is mere cosmetic right which can be snatched from them if any students violate any rules.

#4. Same Platform
Teachers would perform better when they can grade their teachers. This will give them confidence as it will make them more aware. It would motivate them and encourage them and they won’t consider anything unfair. Students would also perform well. The response of students is very dull these days when asked about the opinions and performance of their teachers.

#5. Productivity
Well, if the prerogatives are given to the students to grade their teachers, teachers will be able to give more in form of performance, productivity and output. Some of the teachers in schools are just money-minded, they pay no heed to students and their future. They, at times, teach wrong things and fail to answer the qualms of the students. Teachers would become better when they are judged by the students. Yes, there are opinions that students would go unruly but if well-planned and executed, this system can work.

It is high time that teacher got graded for their performance, behavior and approach. We hope the information provided will be sufficient to clear the your doubts and answer your query. We look forward to more such interesting questions from your end. We are always at your disposal.

We all go through an essential education system while growing up and teachers play an important part in our growing up. They shape the future of a child just like a potter shapes his utensils. Children are like mud and once they go in the right hands, they can become the right pot which can contain knowledge. If the wrong hands shape them, they will crack in the future and will not be so successful in life. So, it is essential that they are getting the correct guidance from their professors in the school.
It is disputed whether a system of grading of teachers by students should be proposed in schools to enhance the learning and teaching atmosphere.
Let us examine the pros and cons of this concept.

Making the children fill a questionnaire about a teacher's behaviour can let us know if the love having that teacher's class and if they are comfortable with her. Their opinion is important because those ways we know what goes in a classroom when we are not there. This is a reason for the teachers as well to be mindful of their conduct with the students. The administration will be able to track which teachers are doing a good job with their students. It will provide them with an insight into the thoughts of the pupils and reveal whether the teachers are successful in getting their recitations followed by the students. The good teachers will be motivated when they see that students like their method of teaching and their overall attitude. The teachers with poor performance will know where they need to make improvisations. At times, the students suffer silently when they do not like the teacher as they do not know the correct way of addressing their complaint. So this grading system will help them raise their concerns easily.

But how can we make sure that the students are being honest while filling the polls? The students might just put a bad grade for a teacher if she punished them for not doing homework. The students might choose good grading for a teacher who does not give them homework and does not teach them much. The students are too young to judge what is good for them and what is bad. Therefore in order to get good grades, the teachers might adopt means of being lenient with the students so that they are liked by them. They will adopt wrong methods to get good grades in the polls in order to survive their job instead of doing their work properly. As students are not administrators, giving them the power to decide which teachers stay will give them a chance to misuse the system to favour themselves. They might also lose the respect for the teachers and the education system will become less effective.

So there should be an efficient method of grasping the accurate results.

Firstly only the students who are above 10 years of age should be given the questions to grade the teachers as below that age, students might not understand the meaning of this system.
Secondly, the students should be made to write a proper reason for putting a particular grade for a teacher so it can be determined that the reasons are authentic or not.
Thirdly, the grading should also include the opinions of the parents as it even makes the students more responsible towards the system.
Fourthly, there should be different parameters to judge the teacher so that one bad trait does not shadow the other good traits.

It is a good system and if applied with good care, the grading can get some useful results for the education system.

Yes, why not. Students should also have the right to judge and grade their teachers. It should be on the
basis of their performance, productivity and teaching strategies. Actually, some teachers tend to become
partial at one point or the other. If students get grade, why not teachers? Students are judged at every
level during their school and college terms. The grading system for teachers would encourage teachers to
give their best and teach effectively and efficiently. Some teachers take students for granted and show no
interest in teaching. They while away their time in conversations and baseless questions. The teacher
does not teach whenever he or she feels like but students are not granted this liberty at all. They cannot
so much express their desires freely. They have to control their thoughts and this is why they fail to give
tongue to their real and true feelings and expressions. If the system changes and teachers are ranked and
given grades by students, there will be change in attitudes of both students and teachers which would be
worth everything. Why should teachers have all the fun? Students should get this license to grade them
so that teachers also start teaching seriously or change their ways, manners and approach.

It'll be great if students can give a feedback to the teachers based on their performance. It will help the teachers to work towards improvement.
