The outspoken Gemini, Sonam Kapoor, turns 32 on June 9!
This actress cum fashionista is pretty vocal on social media and has landed herself in various controversies and Twitter spats.
And she was the one who showed middle finger in public at Players movie promotion. When asked about the incident, she innocently replied, "It's a part of today's youth."
There are some actors (and some directors) who have fallen prey to Sonam's bizarre statements. We will discuss them one by one.
Abhay Deol – He protested against the fairness creams in the market and celebs promoting them, to which Sonam Kapoor replied with Esha Deol’s earlier advertisement of Garnier face wash. After Abhay Deol had condemned his sister’s ad, Kapoor removed the chat from Twitter.

Earlier they had fought when Abhay Deol had complained that too much money was spent on Sonam Kapoor’s clothes in Aisha, which featured both of them, and that’s why the movie didn’t work well in the box-office.

Deepika Padukone – Sonam Kapoor in an indirect manner, took a dig at the actress saying, “Even if Katrina (Kaif) wears jeans and a t-shirt and has her hair in a ponytail... I'd rather have that than someone who is like 'I want to be on the cover of Vogue every three months.'

The criticism didn’t end there as again she commented that she (Kapoor) had good chemistry with her co-actors as she doesn’t sleep with them. This was about Padukone who had worked with her ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, and her current flame, Ranveer Singh. Sonam commented on Ranbir, saying, "He looks hot only when he strips."
Aishwarya Rai Bachhan– Sonam Kapoor called this 43-year old actress, ‘aunty’ because Rai had worked with Anil Kapoor, Sonam’s father in Taal and Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. This comment did not go well in the grapevine.

The comments do not stop there, however, as she once called Katrina Kaif “shameless” in an interview without explaining much about what she had meant. She called Shobha De a “porn writer” and a “bad writer”.

Sonakshi Sinha -To a solid rejoinder to Sonakshi's statement mentioning Sonam only a style icon and not an actress, Sonam said that Sonakshi is a foolish girl. People at her age tend to say foolish things. Whoa!
Koffee With Karan – The reality show where even the sanest stars’ tongues slip! Sonam Kapoor told the host, Karan Johar that “if you’re not good looking, they think you’re a good actor,” a comment on the artist demographic of the industry. In Bollywood, a lot of actors get selected based not on their acting skills but their looks. Maybe that’s what Sonam meant and could not get it out better.
And yes, it was this show only where she mentioned Kareena Kapoor Khan as the Bollywood's gossip queen.

Indian Men - According to Sonam only those Indian men understand fashion who are gay. Quite a statement, Sonam.
Sonam Kapoor has also expressed her concern over how nobody in the industry has a good fashion sense and that a lot of people who had plastic surgery look “scary”.
Although she has a slippery tongue, the actress is lauded for her fashion sense and was voted one of the best dressed in the Cannes.
