The legend Dilip Kumar's illness!

There were a string of rumors on the illness of legendary film actor Dilip Kumar.

The actor took to twitter to thank his fans and convey the thought that things were fine at his end and he was not quite well now. Dilip Kumar was not active on social media for some time and rumors got to spread that all was not well with the Bollywood star.

However, now he has said that he will be regular in his social media interactions to dispel any such rumors which get spread if he does not remain active socially. It is however noteworthy to mention here that media reports surfaced for the first time in September 2011 that his health was worsening. Even some tweets on his death were spread which were untrue.

His wife Saira Banu had to come out in the open to say that these were mere rumors and there was no truth in these allegations. However on September 15, 2013, Dilip Kumar suffered a heart attack and had to be admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai. He survived and was again hospitalized in April 2016 for complications of pneumonia.

However, he is now recovering and the rumors on his health condition seem to be untrue.
