It is only imperative that you had or have a job that you dearly hate. Almost all of us have had jobs that we took under certain situations and naturally went on to hate it.
Having a job that you love is surely a great thing. However, everyone is perhaps not that lucky.
It is not as if you can’t go on to like the job you hate. There are certain ways through which you can make sure that you feel a little less miserable next time you’re in office. Here’s how:
#1. Be Proud Of Your Work Space
We can only assume that you do something that you never intended on doing and that has fueled the hatred you have towards your job. The advisable thing here would be to start taking pride in anything that you do. You could be sitting with a laptop or behind a cash register. Talk to yourself; say that it isn’t that bad after all. Being optimistic is the key to everything after all.

#2. Talk To Your Seniors
Remember that communication should be effective and equally important. You can’t just come to the office every day and leave without regularly having a word with your seniors or your boss. Ask them what they feel about your performance; how they think you’ve been doing and how you can improve. Your seniors will genuinely appreciate this and chances are you’ll start liking your job eventually.

#3. Maintain A Pastime
There is something that you love doing. Make sure that you do that whenever you have free time. It is understandable that you’re not doing a job that you would see yourself doing in the next ten years. So, what is it that you want to do? Fueling your interests on the side is essential. If you love writing, for instance, you can try blogging in your spare time.

#4. Set Realistic Goals
Never try too hard to impress your seniors and bosses. Instead, try to set realistic goals for yourself and work tirelessly to achieve them. Be consistent with your performances and your administration will surely recognize it. You don’t have to ‘wow’ anyone by making otherworldly claims. Know how much is within your reach and work towards it.

#5. Socialize With Your Coworkers
Try being among your colleagues even outside the office. Try to create a bond with them that is beyond the realms of your professional sphere. This way, you’ll feel motivated to go to the office because you can see familiar faces there. You can also consider bringing snacks or other food items for them. A little kindness and effort go a long way.

#6. Dress Up
Whenever you feel you lack the motivation to go to work, try experimenting with your looks! Wear the best clothes and take a nice shower before going to the office. Scientific studies claim that if you feel you’re looking good, it increases your confidence and your motivation within a professional setup.

#7. Connect With New Employees
Just like you, there will be several other people in your office that are new. Try to strike the happy chords and be friends with them. They’re the ones who’ll understand the space that you’re in because they’re likely in the same zone.

#8. Learn New Everyday
There is something you can learn from everything in this world. No matter how much you hate your job, try learning the things that it has to offer to you. What you learn from there would be invaluable, and you’ll eventually appreciate your office.

#9. Be Grateful
Many people in this world don’t have jobs. Naturally, they can’t fend for amenities in life, sometimes even the most basic ones. Get up every morning and be thankful that at least you have a job and are not dying of starvation. Your job might not be perfect, and you might absolutely hate it, but be grateful that it provides for all the needs you have in your life.

It is definitely, possible. My first job didn't interest me in the initial days but when I began to interact with my employees, it felt amazing. I began to value and enjoy the ambience at work and now I am glad I chose to continue working with the organization. I learn new things every day. I am bound to challenge myself; this gives me a sense of confidence. Sharing feed backs with my seniors and getting social with my coworkers did wonders for me. In all this time in the company, I have been able to improve myself.
