Is It Easy To Learn Chinese?

Chinese is quite easy when it comes to grammar, especially for the English speaking population. This is because of the fact that the word structure of Chinese language follows the same pattern that the English language does. Moreover, the Chinese language has less number of conjugations which makes it quite simple to understand, and easy to grasp.

Contrary to the grammatical part, the Chinese language may get challenging when it comes to speaking as it has more complex pronunciations. Perfecting the pronunciation of various alphabets like ‘r’ may take a while. The difficult pronunciation often gives learners a huge trouble with the accent.

Being a pictorial language, it is natural for the reading and writing part of Chinese language to have a higher difficulty level. While distinguishing the characters is a task in itself, the enormously large pool of letters is something that makes the reading and writing even more difficult.

Is It Easy To Learn Japanese?
#1. Grammar
As against the Chinese language, Japanese has a much difficult grammatical layout. For the English speaking masses, it is like stepping into a whole new grammatical structure altogether. Where the Chinese language goes easy on the conjugations, Japanese has the trickiest of the conjugations with only a fine line of difference between them. Moreover, certain grammatical concepts of the language do not follow strict rules, which makes it all the more difficult to have a hold.

#2. Speaking
Speaking part, on the other hand, is easy when it comes to the Japanese language. The pronunciation and sounds may not come as something alien for the people who are well-placed with the English language. An integral part of the Japanese language speaking is to understand the difference in pitch. It is only by noticing the pitch that you can tell a Japanese language expert from a beginner.
#3. Reading And Writing
Like any other pictorial language, Japanese is also quite difficult in terms of reading and writing. The language has two different sets of syllabaries, and it also uses some of the Chinese characters making it difficult for the learners to figure out the difference. In fact, it is even said that it sometimes poses complications for the natives as well.
