God’s favorite child is under controversy! It’s not even a week since he is born and the Saifeena newborn has already sparked a raging debate online.
'Taimur Ali Khan' the child born on 20th of December, as named by his parents Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor has raged a Twitter war over having a historic name connection to a blood-thirsty Turkic conqueror Timur.

While ‘Timur’ and ‘Taimur’ doesn’t spell or even sound the same, people have phonetically connected the evolution of the kid’s name to the conqueror. Logic much?
But, why was Timur so hated and now is the baby Taimur?

• As per historical claims, Timur was an arrogant, brutal and merciless conqueror. The inscription on his tombstone proves it by reading: “When I Rise From the Dead, The World Shall Tremble”.
• While Timur invaded many countries, he invaded India in 1398 leaving Delhi under rivers of blood and a huge amount of loot. People say it took Delhi over a hundred years to recover from his assault.
• He was said to be a great invader, but he wasn’t a great ruler. People suffered from hunger and poverty in his wake.
• He even left a curse with another inscription inside his tomb which said, "Whosoever Disturbs My Tomb Will Unleash an Invader More Terrible than I".
• The curse was true. When a Russian anthropologist, Mikhail Gerasimov ignored the curse and reconstructed his face from his skull; within two days Adolf Hitler attacked Soviet Union which led to world's bloodiest skirmishes of World War II.
It is no doubt why Timur is so hated after knowing the gruesome history, but why is baby Taimur? Spare the kid.
We can hate the parents but not the baby.
