We all have heard it like thousand times that “bad things always happen to good people”. All power and all knowing also allow it to happen to good people. Though most of the people also reverse the question another way around, like why all good people let the bad things happen to them. After all, seeing good people suffer is the most horrible thing to witness. It is even worse than seeing a bad or evil person having fun rather. That said, why good people suffer that much is the main question which deserves a relevant and genuine answer.
So, why do the worse things happen to the good souls who do not even deserve that treatment? We usually don’t understand though there is an acute plan working for all of us. It is natural for humans to shift the blame to someone who will never accuse them back of experiencing the rational hurt, painful circumstances or a false blame.
This is the most difficult of all the ideologies. God is infinite, eternal, omnipresent and omniscient. Then you will ask this question then if you keep serving and helping others, why evil things come to you? Things which are bound to happen will happen anyway. All you need to do is to break free from them. First of all, it is very important to determine what exactly wrong is? For someone what bad is, it might not be for the other person necessarily. Bad things are a permanent feature of your life. Of course, everyone has the habit of asking, “Why me?” “What have we done wrong to deserve this?”

There is no such thing as “get out of the trial free.” We will have to face what is inevitable and our destiny. Be it manmade or natural disasters; it will meet us when it is bound to. Tragedy becomes a tragedy if we let it become one. It is directly related to our perspective and capability to come up with it. As Tim Hansel said “Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional,” it actually depends upon the path you want to choose. The path of joy and misery both are always open, but what you choose will make the difference in your life. Also, Gene Cook (a religious leader) talked about the global and personal suffering people go through. He shared some of the reasons why people suffer, whether good or bad. Believing someone to be good or bad depends upon human beings as nobody comes labeled as good or bad. However, reasons given by Cook seems relevant that why people suffer.

#1. Suffering is to lift us or to prove oneself. Heaven witnesses our responses. After suffering, we forgive or retaliate is the main question. It makes us either sink in self-pity or come up as a savior who served.
#2. Suffering has the capability to teach us obedience. We suffer the consequences to become more obedient to yourself and to others as well. If you once touch the hot stove, you’ll take care of it the next time.
#3. Suffering is also able to teach us to be patient and faithful. Joy comes but never stays forever. Sins and sufferings teach us to be faithful and patient for the joy to come again in our life.
#4. Suffering brings righteousness as when you have suffered once; you will know you suffered because there was something wrong. To possess a clear vision of right and wrong you have to suffer.
#5. There are times when humans himself brings suffering upon them. Humans are capable of making choices. For every choice you make there are a reaction and consequences. Or sometimes we are just the victims of somebody else’s choice. We all a part of a broad design that we might realize later.
#6. Suffering gives the chance to repent and realize the mistakes. Repenting for the mistakes and having an opportunity to be forgiven comes from suffering. You are forgiven at the right time and the right way.

You need to be clear what bad is for you. Bad things are the permanent feature into your life probably because of your perspective towards “bad.” Rather considering what you can do about is more productive;
#1. The Myth Of “Bad Things”
It is actually high time to see what bad things are. They are like a gift to us. It is the way of the universe to tell you that you are probably working on something or something is being worked for you. If you will ignore the signs, you will always play “victims” in your own life. The only responsibility you have is towards your life, and only you need to clean it up. It is entirely up to you that what you do with the bad things or the vital information in your life.
#2. The Real Existence Of “Reality”
Once you are born on earth, you are in a mode of survival. It is that simple and plain. And in order to do that you need all the help, you can get. You need food, protection, and shelter. Either you can learn to blend with all the things around you, good and bad, or you can play the “Victim” in your game of life. Suffering is must in order to survive and develop as a human.

#3. The Choices Are Not There
There is no point of digging your head into sand pretending like an ostrich. You do not have a choice except following the pattern that is designed for you. The universe is in love with you and keeps showing the gifts that you deserve. It will keep showing you the pattern it has designed for you whether by suffering or joy. However, ultimately it will make you realize your path that you need to walk on. In order to get a clear idea of the pathway made especially for you, one needs to walk alone for sometimes. Sufferings are inevitable, and there is no escape to it.
#4. Karma Has It’s Game Strong
If you were to ask a spiritualist that why bad things happen to good people, they will clearly have an answer that karma has its role to play. The law of karma we are either suffering from the sins of the previous birth or of the same birth. Sins are to purify our souls. It is productive what karma says, “what goes around, comes around.” So there is no choice with humans other than taking back what they sow. Millions of people say and believe the law of karma. Problems of humans are directly or indirectly associated with karma. A believer of karma usually accepts his or her sufferings with open arms. On the other hand, people get disturbed by it those who don’t believe in the law of karma. By every means, this crux of the law never changes, that what has to happen will happen anyway. It is believed that if one suffering offered to human is to liberate them from the previous one sin.

There are various aspects which are acceptable by social norms; some are however not. Each idea is far different from the other idea. People can determine that from their perspective. The primary motive remains the same; Sufferings are unavoidable. We would love to know your thoughts about this sensitive issue. Do let us know in the comment section below.

There are no completely good or completely bad people in this world I believe. There is
no one completely black or white. There is always a shade of grey visible. The portion of
color may vary, but nobody is perfectly good. People suffer because they deserve it.
Everyone ultimately gets whatever they deserve. Whatever has to happen always
happens, that can never be stopped by anyone’s will. Bad things happen to those who
believe it to be bad. As the article discussed, I believe as well that the perception of bad
things is what makes all the difference. You can never escape what is designed for you.
Karma has the biggest game to play in our life. “What goes around comes back
around.” That being said, you will always get what you have done in the past. The fate
is written and the ink is dry. The will of any human can not change it, even if they try to.
Therefore, there is no use of playing the victim card. One should pull themselves up and
start fighting again. Sufferings come in our life to teach us something. Everything bad
happens us to teach a lesson. So that we can become better human beings from it. The
law of universe can not be changed. It has so much for us to offer. As the article said,
universe loves us and has so much gifts for us. The pattern of life that we have to follow.
Humans have paths that they have to identify and then lead on it. If there are no pain
and sufferings, there will be no value of joy and good moments. Good things will happen
soon. One should never lose hope with the god because there is a pattern which is
designed for each human being. And that will bring nothing but joy.
