It was long being speculated that cricketer Yuvraj Singh was getting married. His name was associated with many women over the years but in the end, it was a fairytale wedding with Hazel Keech that left many hearts broken across the country.
The engagement ceremony in Bali was a closely guarded secret and only close friends of Yuvraj and Hazel were present on the occasion. The couple had been dating for around three years now but speculations were making the round if they would marry soon.
The engagement ceremony was followed by a wedding in Chandigarh where many film stars and cricketers from Indian Cricket Team were present. Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh was also present at the wedding ceremony in Chandigarh. Noticeably, Yograj has some serious differences with the family and Yuvraj Singh has always remained with his mother.
The wedding ceremony in Chandigarh was followed by a true fairy tale style wedding in Goa too, where both married through Hindu rituals. Hazel has her roots in Britain and Mauritius but after her marriage with Yuvraj Singh, she has taken the new name of Gurbasant Kaur.
Yuvraj Singh was out from Indian Cricket Team since long owing to his treatment for cancer and this wedding with Hazel will act as a morale booster for Yuvraj Singh.
