After I.T, Healthcare can be the next sector where India dominates the world

If we talk about Global Healthcare and wellness, the worth of this industry is $7.4 trillion which comes next only to agro-industry. The natural question which arises in the case of such a scenario is that who is going to dominate this industry in the coming days.

It is a common fact that economy in the 20th century was machine driven and it replaced human toil to a large extent. If we in India have missed the bus here, the 21st century is going to be different. The economy will now be driven by health sector and is likely to be dominated by Indians.


The doctors in India are known to be compassionate and have magic on their fingers which can cure any ailment. India has a lifetime opportunity now. During 1990’s the then Prime Minister PV Narshima Rao was able to build global software empire due to liberalization policies in India. The time has changed now and India is looking forward to leading the world in the global healthcare and wellness business.

The byproduct of such an intervention is likely to benefit us immensely and Indians are likely to get quality healthcare at affordable prices. If reforms in nursing and medical sector are implemented faster across India, the road to progress will be smoother.
