We people are so busy that we ignore a few rules and laws every now and then. We break the red light and speed our cars in places where speeding is prohibited. We do not risk not only other people’s lives but ours as well. The laws are made for some reason and if we do not follow them we are promoting a dysfunctional system and disrespecting the governance. The government makes these laws for our safety and it is important that we follow. The penalties have been made so that people do not break the laws but some people are so shameless that they still break the laws because money is not an issue for them. It is understandable when you are in a haste because of an emergency but if you are breaking laws because you a rule breaker then you are stupid. You will trouble yourself one day and you will regret breaking the law. The tickets we get should be paid. You should not throw them in the dustbins. I have paid all my parking tickets because I respect the law. I have never broken a law intentionally. The tickets I received were either because I did not see a sign board. A person must respond to any parking ticket or camera notice of violation received within 30 days of the parking ticket issue date, even if you believe you are not guilty. If a person is not guilty then he can challenge the parking ticket. You also have the right to appeal. I have appealed quite a few times and I have been found not guilty. Parking tickets frequently double in price if you don't pay them in the first 14 days, but you can still appeal. As long as you appeal within 14 days you will not have to pay the full price - even if you lose. Do not be a fool. Pay all the tickets instead of throwing them in the dustbin. They do not belong to the dustbin. Become better citizens of the country and help others become one. Let the law and the police take care of us and let us help them.
