India Gets Its First Digital Bank For Sanitary Napkins

May 28th is celebrated as World Menstruation Hygiene Day every year, but this time India's Mumbai MLA Dr. Bharati Lavekar actually started an initiative which would serve a great purpose for this cause.

In this recent move, she has launched India's first digital bank for sanitary pads and people can easily log on to the site teefoundation.in to donate pads and money for the same. Also, those in need can easily access this portal for sanitary napkins.

The move is a small but significant step towards improving the outlook towards menstruation hygiene, an important issue for the women that is overlooked and ignored by the society and the Government.
