Who is better, a handsome man or a smarter person? Definitely, it would be a smart decision to go in for a smarter individual than a good looking person. Looks will change with time as we become old, whereas with time and age, the smartness increases, so it is always smart enough to say that "smarter is better".
While eating, it would be a smart decision to go in for a healthy diet rather than going in for junk foods. Eat healthily and stay fit is the smart rule that needs to be followed by all to lead a happy life. Every day we should go for a walk, do exercises, do yoga to stay healthy. We should take lots of fibre-rich foods, lots of fruits and vegetables, less carbohydrate-rich foods, etc. This healthy habit should be taught to the children at a very early stage when they start to eat on their own so that as they grow they will have a healthy lifestyle. Health is wealth. What could be more important than to stay healthy and be happy?
While our children are about to take an important step in their studies regarding their academic life, it would be a smart idea to sit and talk about what they would want to become in future and whether that would be the best option, and discuss other options too in case if this does not click for the child. If the child is unclear about the decision, we can guide them and show the right path. If we are not clear either it would be a smart move to meet academic counsellors and sort out things towards a better future.
The same way when choosing jobs, be very careful. If the job offers night duty, it would be a smart decision to expose ourselves to the sunlight now and then, instead of spending the entire day sleeping. As vitamin D in the body is produced by exposure to sunlight and that is required along with calcium for the goodness of the bones.
And also the office atmosphere, its ambience, whether it would be cosy for work, the colleagues, their nature, everything needs to be analysed, and then we should act and adjust accordingly. When the job requires sitting before the computer for the entire day, take short breaks and go for a walk, take fresh juices instead of aerated drinks, take healthy snacks like sprouts, fiber-rich biscuits, fruits instead of deep fried ones.
We should not forget our family and imbibe ourselves in our work. We should spend quality time with parents, wife and children. What is the point in earning in thousands and lakhs at the sake of losing our loved ones? So we should spend our free time with our beloved ones and make small outings now and then and play more of outdoor games than indoor games so that it is good for the health as well as fun.
While making long distance travel plans, it is smart enough to decide on the destinations beforehand with respect to the climatic conditions, food, etc. especially if elders or children are travelling. They should be able to withstand the weather and be comfortable with the food. The children will fall sick easily and so medications should be carried along so that travelling and sightseeing can be enjoyed happily without any tension.
Perfect timing for tourism is maintained for any place and keeping that in mind we should decide on the place we are going to travel. We can carry some packets of food in hand in case the food is not available for everybody.
Nobody is perfect and it is not that every day is a happy joyous day for all. We do have sad pathos moments and we all do have our own share of ups and downs and so act smartly and be a better person.
Yes, smart work is better than hard work.
