#1.   A spiritual side - Despite his ‘live life king size’ lifestyle, Mallya is ardently religious. While in India, he made sure to visit the Sabarimala Temple every year.  Apart from his annual pilgrimage, he ensured that every aircraft he bought was flown over to Tirupati first. 
#2.    Linguistic- Mallya had an unusual knack for languages like English, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Gujarati, Bengali, and French.
#3.    Love for Jewelry- It does not come as a surprise that Mallya has a particular interest in jewelry. His continuously worn accessories include a diamond bracelet with VJM inscribed on it, a pendant of Lord Venkateswara, and solitaires gifted to him by his grandmother.
