The device runs on Android Nougat v7.1.1 powered by an Octa-core 2.45 GHz processor and 8GB of RAM space. One of the biggest upgrades in OnePlus 5T is the battery which is now 3,400mAh as compared to 3,000mAh earlier. The rear camera of this mobile is supported by a 16MP camera. It uses the same Snapdragon 835 SoC with its integrated Adreno 540 GPU, and comes in the same two variants - one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The only difference will be the fact that OnePlus has tweaked the aperture of the second lens so as to allow for better low-light photography in the case of the OnePlus 5T. Also, the secondary lens comes with the same focal length as the primary one, meaning it's not specifically a telephoto or zoom lens. The secondary lens, it seems, would come into effect only during low-light conditions or while shooting in portrait mode.
