Where is Santa?

We all wait for December to come. It brings with itself holidays, great food and of course our favorite Santa Claus on the Christmas Eve. Christmas calls for beautiful house decorations too. While walking through the streets, one can witness stunning balcony decorations also.

There is an age old story that we all have heard as kids- where in the Santa lived in the North Pole and during Christmas, he rides on his sled and flies in the houses of the “well-behaved” kids to fill them up with presents.

Well, we can’t tell you the answer, but these apps surely do. Our smartphones and computers are flooded with some mind boggling Santa Tracking Apps that will help you track down Santa. These apps not only tell you about Santa’s present location but instead take you through his entire journey.

#1. NORAD Tracks Santa

NORAD is an acronym for the North American Aerospace Defense Command, a joint US-Canadian military operation. The tracking of Jolly Old St. Nick commenced in 1955 as a result of a mistake. A Sears store wrongly printed the telephone number of headquarters of NORAD’s predecessor, CONAD instead of a random number to call Santa. Since then, the military group started responding with updated information on Santa’s whereabouts. It has now become a tradition.

While searching on NORAD, the user can see a 3D view of the current location of the Santa.

#2. Google Santa Tracker

Google got involved in the tracking process back in 2004. It began on Google Earth. From 2007 till 2011 Google and NORAD worked together to spot the Santa. By 2012, Microsoft partnered with NORAD and Google took to its tracking.

Using the app is not a difficult task.

You can easily type search Santa in your Google search bar. Click the link below, and it will directly take you to the tracking app.

Now type “Where is Santa” and the app will give you his current location.

You can also use the voice search option to find your Santa. Use Google Now, Google Assistant or the search app to trace his location. Just say "Santa," and his current location will pop up on your screen.
