Why are children not given the same rights as adults?

I don't mean the right to bear arms. But I am talking about the freedom of speech which is taken away at school. Teachers tell us when it is ok to talk, which is most of the time not at all, and when we are allowed to use the bathroom. Which I find ridiculous. If you have to go you have to go. But if you notice a kid going repeatedly I understand but most kids don't.

Not all. There are some rights which children should not have. As an adult, I can go out to wherever I want. I can stay there for as long as I like. We could not safely give that right to a child. A child cannot make most contracts. This is to protect the child from unscrupulous people who would try to gain from that child’s innocence.

They have the right to safe, clean living conditions, regular meals, fed and clothed. And deeply loved.
