We all have a set of relationships in our life that are close to our heart. All of them have a very different significance in our life and tend to shape our life experiences in different ways. But, the kind of bond we share with our mother is completely different and remains very special for us. What mothers do for their children and the role they play in the lives of their children is always most crucial and cannot be replaced by any other relation. There are so many aspects of the mother and child relationship that is essential for the proper growth and the happiness of every child.

Even though a mother-child relationship is very important for the child, irrespective of the child being a girl or boy. There is something very different in a mother and son relationship. A son plays a very different role in the life of a mother, especially after they grow up. The kind of bonding a mother and daughter have is absolutely unique. Being a woman both are able to understand various aspects of living life as women. Keeping aside the mother and daughter relationship, they also connect to each other just as women. They tend to understand and gauge the kind of life experiences that are restricted to only women. Their connection remains completely different.

What the mother and son relationship is made up of cannot be compared to that of the kind of relationship a mother and daughter will share. #1. In those cases when the mother is single or has been widowed, where she is alone and has managed to bring up the son all by herself, the bond becomes even stronger as the son grows up. They have made it through all the difficult times all by themselves and been each other’s support system at all times. In such cases, the son becomes the man of the house as soon as they grow up.

In other cases where the mother has the father for the support, even when the son chooses to live their life on their own terms and conditions, the mother will not be missing the presence of the son to a huge extent. But, in the case where the son is the only support left for here, it becomes difficult for the mother to live a life where she has to lose the only support she had for all her life.

It is one of the very special mothers and son bonding that can ever be, it is very crucial for both the son and the mother to keep in mind their equation and move ahead in life. The son will have to make sure he is able to balance the new responsibilities he takes up so that it does not compel him to abandon his mother completely. The mother will need to keep in mind the idea that her son has all the stages of life to go through and that will mean what they had during his childhood years may go through changes, but, keep faith in his ability to always stand by her.

The mother in law is often the person who has a tremendous amount of impact on the life of the married couple. All those sons who are close to the mother will have to make sure they do not completely ignore their mothers because they have some new person in their life now.

At the same time the mother in law should be able to understand the fact that just because her son is busy growing his own family, she is not going to be ignored. The position she holds in his life is always going to be the same. It is very essential for the mother to understand that the cause of the problems in the relationship is generally her insecurity regarding the new relationship the son is taking up.

This is why it is crucial for the mother and the son to have a very good communication between them. If the understanding between them is such that both of them are able to understand the feelings of the other side, then it will be very easy to create a good relationship between the mother in law and the daughter in law and have an easy married life.

The daughter tends to be the apple of the father's eye and the son is deeply loved by the mother is what is the common notion. Although this may differ from person to person, commonly this is what is found. With the mother, the son gets the tender love and care that is completely opposite to the companionship of the father. It is generally from the close bonding with the mother, that the son develops his ability to be sensitive and express his emotions.

This is the reason why the son and mother relationship is so different and super special. They are very different from each other, but, it is from the mother that the son learned to be compassionate, it is the mother who is mostly with the child during the childhood and thus the values she instills in them is what determines the kind of person they will grow up to become.

The son in many cases grows up to become like the father, but, the values he will have is the result of what the mother is able to instill in him when he was a child.

What is important to keep in mind is it depends on the son and the mother how they are going to let their relationship grow? It is a commonly believed notion that as the son grows up, there is a lot of tension and sometimes some complications crop in, especially after the marriage of the son. What is crucial to understand is, it will not be an issue for any mother and son to deal with the challenges that their relationship will face, if they tend to continue to keep the faith in each other.

At the end of the day, every relationship has to go through its ups and downs, it depends on the individuals how they are going to deal with it. If both of them show the kind of understanding required to make the relationship smooth and free of tension, then it will be impossible for any kind of turmoil to shake it or create a tension the relationship.
