Following the tradition of son over-taking the property of parents has got a ban now. As stated by the Delhi High Court, adult son will not have any legal rights over the self-acquired property of his parents. He could live in their house merely on their mercy.
The court also stated that just because the son has lived from so many years into their house, it does not mean they will have to bear his burden. Now there is a relief for the parents who get tortured regularly by their sons or even daughter-in laws in their own house. Many parents get humiliated by their sons inspite of their own property. Now such parents can live a life of peace.
