They are super cute, and looks friendly too.

Koalas are the friendliest animals. They are clumsy but are strong swimmers. The koala cub is blind when it's born and live for 20 or more years. Koalas can run as fast as a rabbit and sleep for up to 19 hours. They live and sleep in the eucalyptus trees. It's hot, light and dry.

Koalas are lovable and friendly animals. The word “bear” that associates with them give a wrong impression about their characteristics. However, they are cuddly animals and seem approachable but one should definitely maintain some distance from them. They aren’t considered dangerous, but if you are a first timer, be cautious. Remember, they have sharp teeth and even sharper claws – one mistake and you risk yourself to fatal injuries. No deaths have been reported yet!

Koalas can be adorable but they can also be violent. It may be hard to believe but there have been cases where Koalas attacked dogs as well as humans (of course in critical cases). Unfortunately, even Koalas have been hit by several animals. But if you mess with a Koala, they will be after your life! Otherwise, yes, they sleep during the day (to be precise - 18 hours) and stay awake at night. Quite nocturnal! But even I am the same. Am I a Koala? Need to check with a specialist.

koalas are not bears. they are MARSUPIALS, which means that they are born immature & eventually develop in the safety of a pouch. They shouldn't be referred to as ‘Koala bears' but simply 'Koalas'.

Kolas are the most adorable creatures ever and they definitely pose no harm to humans. These nocturnal beings are awake only at night and their new born is called Joey. An interesting name isn't it!

Koalas can sleep for 20 hours in a day.
