The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) will likely announce the result for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 today. The candidates who have taken the exam can check their results on CBSE’s result portal which is Cbseresults.nic.in. In order to check their result, a candidate has to put in their exam roll number and date of birth.
This year a total of 11,38,890 students appeared for the NEET exam including 1,522 NRIs and 613 foreigners. The exam was conducted for 65,000 MBBS and 25,000 BDS seats in medical and dental colleges across India. A lot of people will heave a sigh of relief upon the declaration of the results as they have been anxiously waiting for it. The particular exam is also very prominent because of the simple reason that NEET has replaced all major national and state level medical examinations.
After the results, the counseling process would begin. The counseling will be done in two different phases. One is the All India quota for which the counseling will be done for 15% of total seats. The other is State quota for which the counseling will be done for the remaining 85% seats.
If you’ve been wondering about the things to keep in mind about the crucial counseling process, here is a list for the same:
