Ways of fighting air pollution

The air around us is full of pollutant. The cause of this air pollution is the human race which in the name of development has gone against nature, used natural resources and brought about an environmental imbalance. This has posed danger to our lives and therefore it's our duty to bring back the balance in nature by fighting air pollution.

Since we cannot do without technology and have to develop ourselves in all aspect of life, it becomes essential to find ways to fight air pollution. The very basic thing is to bring back that greenery in nature that is decreasing day by day. Reforestation can trap the pollutants in the air so we can have plants at home in the form of a garden or potted plants that would help purify the air at home. The leaves of the plants and trees not only trap the toxic particles around us but releases fresh oxygen while respiration which we can inhale.

All the electrical and electronic goods that we use at home require energy and emit some amount of heat. It's beneficial to switch off lights, fans, computers, ACs etc when not in use to reduce emissions that cause air pollution. We can use energy saving bulbs and also electronic goods that consume less wattage.

The number of vehicles for communication has increased and along with it the toxic emission from the fuel used in bikes, cars, buses, trucks etc. We can walk to the market and places that are not far from home. Using a pool car or public transportation can check air pollution.

Products that can be recycled and that are biodegradable should be chosen against those that are not, like plastic or thermocol. We can use paper bags or bags made of cloth that can be washed and reused. 

Keeping our surroundings clean is very important to check air pollution. Any waste that directly or indirectly pollutes the air should be disposed and managed in such a way so as the check pollution.
