At old age, people wish to live a happy and undisturbed life.
It is not a gleeful stage to experience. Old age brings many distressful conditions and diseases leading up to stress, trauma, depression and many other likely symptoms. With little life left, old people hope and desire to spend their rest of the life at a place that is less chaotic.
At old age, people would want to live at a place which have the following -
1. People friendly: Old age takes away the strength of our muscles and energy from our body, which is why they look for a place which has all the amenities available nearby.
2. Economical: Buying anything in the current scenario is highly expensive. The price of the daily usage items increases on a weekly basis. The elderly are incapable of earning at old age, which is why they look for a place that is economical and can run through their pensions.
3. Less polluted: When you are old, your body is much prone to dust and smoke. A less polluted city is the best deal.
4. Close to nature/environment: Green foliage is always healthy. The freshness of nature provides a sense of calmness inside.
5. Generous people: We look for generous neighbors and people around not only when we are old but at every stage and age of life.
6. Peaceful: At old age, people look for a place that is less crowded and resides far away from the noisy traffic.
7. Less crime-rate: Most of the times the elderly are the victims of loot, theft, and murder. A city with less crime is their ideal choice.
8. Cultural and beautiful: Nobody wants to live at a dirty or dingy place. A place which is cultural and beautiful is always preferable.
Besides finding a perfect place to live, the elderly need the love, care, and affection of their family and loved ones the most. The best place to live at for them is the one where they have a family to take care; the one they can call home.
I would like to live in the city where all my loved ones reside. Travelling and exploring new places, living by beaches, in an islands or on hill stations should be done when you are young enough to do these kind of excurrsions. When you are old and weak, you always look for your loved ones around, you want to stay in the house in which you have lived you childhood or have spent your entire life.
