The liver is considered as one of the most pivotal organs in our body. Its job is to break down the food we eat to digest it and give out energy to perform tasks on a daily basis.  Do you where is the liver located in the body? We will find out.

You can see it placed under your lungs and the heart and it sort of wraps around the top part of your stomach in a protective manner. And, this small organ weighs in between 3 and 6.5 pounds which are two-third the weight of an average new born on estimation.

It is also known for breaking the stored glycogen and the result is glucose from amino acids.
