There are good and bad types of guys who happen to a be a lot of different from each other. It is often said that nice guys finish late and lag behind in every race of life. The events and things happening around us make us believe that bad boys always let their hair down, paint the town red, rock and roll and end up being successful, happy and satisfied.
Nice guys often get shunned because of their extreme good conduct and ethics, morals and values. However, bad guys set their own rules and principles; they do not abide by any set of rules. Nice guys follow things to the letter be it life or a trivial incident. Somehow the reality is that the bad guys enjoy to the hilt and still make it big eventually. What a nice guy- should this be considered a compliment? It could be considered a compliment but many a time, nice guys eat a humble pie and they are suppressed by other boys. Women abhor that approach and like guys full of grit and determination.
In relationships or career, good guys fail behind and are cornered by people. In the present scenario, people do not take a fancy to the guys who are overly nice and perfect to the T. No one wants to wind up in a place with a punctual, overly disciplined nice guy. They are hurt at every stage and feel dejected and disconsolate. Here are some of the reasons why nice guys get hurt every time while their complete opposites have a blast:
#1. Too Fast
Nice guys have a thing about them that is really irksome which pisses people off to a great extent. They are too fast and do not give time in a relationship. They wish to settle down quickly without even reconsidering the affairs and matters. A mature decision takes time and girls admire boys who take time and are patient and fun-loving.
#2. Marionette
Women do not like puppets which can be controlled. They want guys to be independent and do something in their own right and cut the umbilical cord. Nice guys tend to be too dependent on their girlfriends and families which is not acceptable to some people. This mars their image and prospects. What a nice guy – the line comes with its own restrictions.
#3. No Promotion
Good guys cannot scale great heights professionally, they are always subjugated owing to their temperament and soft disposition. The nice behavior and their agreement in everything do not hold them good opportunities for future and their career.
#4. Less Assertive
Just because you are not emphatic, you end up getting out of every zone. Nice guys cannot work on their own, cannot think without external support and cannot take an initiative. They lack some basic skills which cannot be overlooked by the society and women. They eventually feel disgusted and incapacitated.
#5. Something Scary
It happens that people do not want to offend nice guys and sympathize with them at every level. If they happen to hurt them on the off chance, they regret it and lay a guilt trip on themselves. So the aura of the nice guys is a bit scary which tends to distance people away from them. They go through a lot of strain to make it in life.
#6. The Label is Confusing
We often say – what a nice guy, the guy we are inclined towards in one way or the other. The label – Nice Guy is in itself very puzzling. Nice guys are not supposed to do anything against the grain and have to be in line with the normal. If they cross that boundary, they are ridiculed and mocked. The odds are they might not be accepted in a group or office or by women around them. If a nice guy tries to transform his nice image, he becomes an object of ridicule among people.
Have a dekko around you, be it your workplace or a classroom, you will never see nice guys doing wonders whereas bad boys decompress and while away their time and party like crazy. They are party animals and are interested in things all wild and dramatic. Nice guys, on the other hand, keep things in an order. Nice guys remain behind and stand in awe of what surpasses them. Given below are the reasons why do nice guys struggle and the bad guys have a tickety-boo life:
#1. Attitude Differs
The important thing which distinguishes nice guys and bad guys are their attitudes towards life. Life is not meant to be taken too seriously, and bad guys realize this very early on in life and tread their path with full vivacity. However, nice guys take life gravely, even the petty matters.
#2. Devil May Care Attitude
Bad boys don’t give a hoot and do not care unnecessarily about future whereas nice guys burden themselves thereby creating tension and stress. What will transpire will do, there is nothing we can do to stop it, save some extraordinary or exceptional situations.
#3. Extra Cautious
Nice guys are being over careful and treat people nicely and make sure that they do not offend the next person else they might have to face rejection which is unbearable. Bad guys are carefree and nonchalant, they do things spontaneously and do not plan anything in advance. When nice guys plan things beforehand, they are bound to fail through as there is no certainty as to what is in store.
#4. Fear Of Losing
Nice guys contemplate a good deal and they avoid doing mistakes or they’ll end up being losing their partners which makes them lose the plot. Bad boys hardly think of losing someone, they have their own priorities and do not let their relationships affect them in any way.
#5. Less Popular
Bad guys are popular and famous and nice guys are always friend zoned and do not stand a chance of getting in a relationship. Bad guys owing to their huge popularity are attractive and girls like to know more about them. The interest women show in bad boys is very high in comparison to the nice, good guys.
#6. Too Honest
Nice guys tend to be too honest whereas bad guys can mold themselves according to circumstances and situations. Nice guys just stick with one criterion and cannot adjust to a variety of people, therefore women just say, what a nice guy, but do not accept your proposals.
#7. Less Daring
Bad boys are gutsy and take things head-on when need be, but the good image which goes with nice boys makes them a bit of a coward. They can barely speak against someone, women want guys to be daring and audacious. Bad boys are intrepid and take the gauntlet and face challenges but nice guys simply cannot muster up the courage to argue with anybody.
#8. Cannot Come Out Of Shell
Some people are way too nice and their conduct and actions serve as an evidence to their temperament. What a nice guy, hey, what sweet boy – such praises are heaped on them. The reality is their make-up is such and they cannot bring themselves to come out of their shell. They would feel like a fish out of the water if put in different circumstances. Bad boys are cool and composed and do not do things in haste and are not stuck in a rot.
