Punching people in their face yet emotionally attaching with the audience is the Stallone Style. From being a writer to being a successful actor, the legendary action star has experienced it all.
So, on his birthday (6th July) we bring back the charm and remember 10 of his must-watch films that weren't just Rocky and Rambo. These were and still are well crafted and hard-hitting performances by the Italian Stallion. A few of them might not be the most successful one's but aren't even dramatic box office flops!
#1. Death Race 2000 - 1975
Obtaining 85% Tomatometer (by Rotten Tomatoes) rating, Death Race is a classic film that genuinely drew thrills from its ultra indifferent violence. This economical satire is Sylvester's pre-Rocky phase. The film is fun to watch and portrays his characters as a menacing maniac.

#2. F.I.S.T. - 1978
Though F.I.S.T. was not a box office hit, still has 80% Tomatometer rating. Sylvester often preferred departing his customary masculine looks. At times he failed. F.I.S.T. too sounds like a Stallone ripping people apart kind of a film, but in reality, he succeeded in easing back on the violent conflict.

#3. Nighthawks - 1981
In between all the parts of Rocky, Stallone did give out a few flops. Though his performance wasn't compromised, the collection couldn't be fair enough. Nighthawks was another flop, but our hero sporting the best beard look may make you want to see this flick for once!
