Truth is a comparative term in its simple context. But to believe something as eternal truth is to consider it as absolute truth. And to believe absolute truth is to understand truth as a whole body and not partial. That means, it much be considered metaphysically and scientifically both.
It depends on people and their perspective towards life and other people. For me, Eternal Truth does exists in real.
