Survival for Lalita Benbansi can be summed up in three phrases- ‘never give up,' ‘wrong number’ and ‘let’s get married.' An acid attack survivor, Lalita’s life took a leap of good faith when she dialed a wrong number. The person, our hero, Ravi Shankar Singh called Lalita after a fortnight only to tell her that he liked her voice.
They chatted, and the cupid struck. Soon Ravi proposed Lalita.

Before Lalita could say anything, she narrated him her story. In 2012, Lalita became a victim of an acid attack when she tried to stop a fight between her brother and cousin in a wedding ceremony at Uttar Pradesh.
Ravi was a true lover. He loved Lalita as a person, not just a face and decided to marry her. Acid Survivors Saahas Foundation not only organized their wedding but also made arrangements for a banquet hall, food, décor and a honeymoon package.
Lalita looked graceful in the beautiful Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla outfit she wore.

That’s not all. Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi gifted Lalita and Ravi a beautiful house and blessed the couple.
