I recently started getting back into pokémon (the last game i played was Heartgold) I've been playing through Alpha Sapphire and got introduced to this wonderful little feature called 'wonder trade'.

After a handful of decent pokes & wurmples, i got a pawniard with pokérus. Now, i remember from back in the day that pokérus was something incredibly rare. So i'm just wondering if it's a common practice nowadays to have pokérus or is it still something considered as "rare"?

you
Due to the level of how much pokerus has spread and is known about, it isn't crazy rare to get it to wondertrade but probably one of the easiest ways to get it. But by all means, Congratulations! (For real!) Be happy you got it because it helps a ton!!!

Players will be capable to use an possible device called Pokemon GO Plus to improve their understanding. The Niantic and Pokemon Company have just declared Pokemon GO, an forthcoming free-to-play mobile coming to iOS and Android in 2016.

If you keep that window of all nearby Pokémon open, the list will automatically update as you move from place to place. Pokémon that are closer to the direction you're moving will slide up to the top-left corner; critters that are further away will move to the bottom right, and eventually off the list.

First set up the game and started walking, you'll notice a grey box on the screen to the right of your effective avatar which displays some Pokémon shapes. Tap that grey box, and you'll be presented with a group of up to nine Pokémon in your local near area.

When you walk in the real world, you also walk in Pokémon Go. As you do, a small grey-purple radar ring emanates from your virtual person. This radar ring is, essentially, your "reach" in discovering nearby Pokémon.
