Should tariffs on imported China goods be increased to upto 45% as proposed by Donald Trump?

Trump proposed that the tariffs on imported China goods should be increased upto 45% and asserted that China has waged economic war against United States by taking american jobs.

China has been biggest trade partner to US. So doing so will affect the trade..
