For the first time in 99 years, America will see a total coast to coast solar eclipse in August. The authorities have announced a total solar eclipse on 21st August 2017. The eclipse is said to draw 14 states, from Oregon to South Carolina into a state of darkness. This will be the first Pacific to Atlantic eclipse in a century.
U.S. witnessed a total eclipse in the year 1979 as well. However, it was visible across only six northwestern states.
