Why do we respect our teachers when they are paid to teach us?

The teacher is that part of a student’s life, who is responsible for moulding the students into a proper shape.

Being a student, I know the importance of teachers and everyone should especially the students who are under the guidance of their teachers all the time. Of many relationships, a student and teacher relationship is like a strong bond which is highly remarkable. Not only till school or college hours, but teacher helps a student whenever he could. The love of a teacher for his or her student cannot be explained in words.

Teachers are the important part of our lives. They are the ones who help students in their studies or even when there are some problems. As we all know that school is our second home and teachers are like a student’s parent who takes care of him like his child. Without even complaining, teachers dedicate their full time to students in teaching them and explaining them their problems with solutions. a teacher never fails in showing their passion and dedication to work. A teacher prepares a child for his better future. He provides knowledge and the ways to deal with the outside world. A teacher never thinks bad about any child in college or at school. They always want their children to be on top and be successful in their respective lives. Many of the students think that a teacher is always irritating him by scolding him again and again but that’s not true. A teacher scolds you for your benefit only. If he or she will be not strict, everybody would take advantage of it. A teacher has so many duties and responsibilities to follow. They have to maintain the decorum in the class as well the entire school. Teachers have to look their students and also the organisation where they are teaching. They are the ones with many responsibilities on shoulders.

Respecting means taking care of what the other person is saying or doing. Teachers are our ‘gurus’. They are elder to every child they deal with. They have much experience than us. They have seen the world outside than we have. Teachers are like a gift of god given to us for taking care and responsibility of us. They work in school or any organisation and yes, are paid for. But that doesn’t mean we stop respecting them because they are paid to teach us. No. they teach us that’s true but apart from it, they are fully responsible for us. Whether it's teaching, scolding or making us learn, they help us in each and every sphere of life. No matter what age they go into, they ae always there for us. Many students even stay connected to their teachers even after finishing up with college or school. Respecting them is our part of the job. Like our parents sacrifice so much for us, the same way teachers are always ready to give up what they can for their students.

Respecting is what comes from within. If we value someone, respect naturally follows. Teachers are meant to be respected because they value a lot to us. Students need to maintain a strong bond with their teachers and always learn to respect them as they are the ones responsible for our career ahead. If they would not have taught us, how would a person have achieved something in life? Respect them and know their importance in our lives.
