Khan Academy was founded by educator Salman Amin Khan in 2006 with an aim to offer free online tutorial service to the students of any age.

Khan Academy is an online educational website which provides free coaching to the students using modern, adaptive technology. It is a very useful platform for the students as it provides in-depth knowledge on various subjects, mainly for Mathematics and Science.

Though it is a virtual classroom, it acts like a real academy providing all the necessary aids to empower the students to enjoy their studies at their own comfort from any part of the world.

There are practice exercises, instructional videos as well as a personalized learning dashboard in Khan Academy's website, facilitating ease of learning to the students.

Other than Mathematics and Science, Khan Academy provides guidance in computer programming, Arts & Humanities subjects, Electrical Engineering and Finance.

Khan Academy is partnered with several reputed institutions, such as NASA, The California Academy of Sciences, The Museum of Modern Art and MIT, enabling it to share specialized content with the students.

Time-to-time, it releases new instructional videos to enhance the students' interest in a subject. The videos are available at the website as well as on YouTube.

Khan Academy is giving a new dimension to the education system. It has made it possible for a student from a remote location to access the guidance of renowned lecturers from reputed institutes.
