Are we responsible citizens of India?

This question every citizen of India should be asking to oneself. Are we really the responsible citizens of India or are we just living in India as citizens of India?

Do you all know the meaning of the word ‘responsible’? Is it just a word or it really means something? Have you ever thought of your country once? These are the questions which should be always there in your mind and not only you should think about these but also take actions too. Thinking is just not enough until and unless you stand by it.

Responsibility means performing duty as per it should be performed. A responsible citizen is the one who takes the duty on his shoulders and vow not to let his country down because of him or her. Responsible doesn’t mean that you have the right to do anything but doing only valid thing with your rights leading to betterment of the nation is responsibility. People take responsibility of their family, child, wife everything they can then why not nation?

The crimes that are increasing day by day do not show our responsibility. Girls are not safe in our own nation; they are scared to go out of their houses, people throwing garbage wherever they wish to throw, doing things as they wish to do whether right or wrong. Not paying taxes on time, dealing with evil practices, violence, no independency given to girls, not giving votes and many other instances shows clearly that we are not responsible citizen towards our nation.

So, it’s our duty to be responsible for our nation and also keep it clean and away from various evils prevailing into it. Everybody citizen of the nation should involve in activities that only leads to its betterment.
