Do marriage jokes have a shade of truth?

Marriages are said to be made in heaven. Prior to the time when a person gets married, he does not consider it good to hear something which is said in a humorous manner about their spouse. Any marriage joke does not amuse him.

However, the scenario changes drastically when a person gets married. The jokes which used to seem untrue to a person prior to marriage suddenly have a shade of truth in them. So, is it just their assumption or do such marriage jokes have some truth?

It is indeed true that some of the marriage jokes which keep circulating in social media have a component of truth in them. The reason for the same is also not difficult to understand. Once a person is married, the wife or the husband develops a sense of realism that the other person is going to be with them for life.

This brings a shift in perception they had about their partner prior to their marriage.
