With Google also jumping on the bandwagon, Apple has a competitor when it comes to the creation of simplified media applications. Google is now working on a social photo app which will allow the users to share and edit the photos.
The Clips app from Apple focuses on simplifying the process of video creation and its further sharing on social media. In comparison, Google is working on an app which will offer features as image recognition, use of filters and tagging of the pictures in different groups.

The existence of such a project has been confirmed by Google but the company says that it is one of the several projects which it is handling. The name and release date of the app are still not available but Google is likely to use its expertise of tagging objects in photos. These can then be organized in order so that they can be used with ease at a later stage.
Users can also apply filters to their photos through this app. Interestingly, this feature was launched by Snapchat and almost every social media site now makes use of the same. This app will be a tough competitor to a similar app by the name of Path which allows users to edit and share photos.
