The whole world waits with anticipation, when every year, Apple releases its flagship device. The device which so often exceeds expectations has a huge following all around the world. If you follow the world of technology, you know that whenever a new iPhone is released, speculations around what its successor might look like arise.
Following suit, when Apple unveiled its flagship iPhone 7 last year, everyone discussed what the next iPhone; the iPhone 8 could bring to the table. Like every year that sees so many leaks in design and features, this year is no different as there have been quite a few leaks of what the next iPhone could look like.
Also, what has now become some custom in the tech-world, which is pitting Apple’s flagships to those of Samsung’s; two companies that have ruled the tech front for more than two decades now. Many websites have compared the leaks of the next iPhone to that of Samsung’s flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Here Is How The iPhone 8 Could Look Like:
Apple’s tenth-anniversary smartphone is expected to come with a radical design, most notably with an edge-to-edge display, leaving no space for Apple’s trademark Touch ID. If media reports are to be believed, the Touch ID will be integrated beneath the screen itself, which indicates towards the use of some sort of an infrared sensor to read the fingerprints. The image that has surfaced in the media compares the size of the new iPhone with that of Samsung’s S8 and S8+. Reports claim that this model is based on “anonymous factory workers with intimate information.”

If you take a look at the picture, it shows that the new iPhone will have a 5.8 inch OLED display with the dimensions of 143.59 X 70.94 X 7.557 mm. Although it is placed against two Galaxy devices with almost similar dimensions, it looks much smaller, thanks to the edge-to-edge display.
It will be fascinating as to how the iPhone 8 looks, but if these leaked images are to be believed upon, it will have an edge-to-edge display and will also lack the usual home button. Something that Samsung has also done with its latest flagships. However, unlike the Galaxy devices, Apple’s iPhone will have a flat display and not the dual curve display. The same report also suggests that Apple iPhone 8 will feature a vertical dual camera setup.
Although these are only certain speculations, one thing is for; that Apple’s new flagship is expected to consist of state-of-the-art technology and craftsmanship. And like every year, the entire world would be waiting to see the new Marvel by Apple this September, when the iPhone 8 is expected to be released.
