Punjab Elections 2017 – Dates, Polling Schedule, Parties, Assemblies

The elections in Punjab are going to be special this time. As time is flying, the excitement and the heat of elections can be seen in the eyes of the respective parties. People are also waiting eagerly for the election as after five long years they again have a chance to choose the most deserving candidate. Many poll type of research have been done by the media people and they have come to various outcomes. It is going to be tough this time as ‘AAP’ is all set to burn the elections.

Punjab Elections 2017 Date:

According to the chief election commissioner of India, there will be no delay in the elections and elections will be conducted in Feb 2017. It may be possible that the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha election would occur simultaneously, so that a lot of time, energy and money can save. If all goes well and the leading political parties agree to it, then it will be a great success.

Punjab 2017 polling schedule:

According to a survey, the projected seats for different parties have been predicted and I must say; AAP is leading from all the directions. We have come to a conclusion that AAP will come as the largest party with 85 to 89 seats and hence their chances of also winning increases by 50%. The party with the second highest number of seats would be Congress i.e. approximately16 to 20 seats and then followed by the collaboration of BJD and SAD with 9 to 13 seats. Many people were contacted and a report was prepared after listening to their answers and the outcome is that 40 to 44% of the votes are in favor of AAP; followed by Indian national congress with approximately 30- 32% of the total votes and then 20-24% in the hands of BJP and rest will be divided among other parties. SO there are huge chances of AAP party ruling over Punjab this time.

The major political party this election would be as follows:

•    Bhartiya Janta Party

•    Bahujan Samaj Party

•    Punjab Democratic Party

We just have a combination of opinions of different people; we can’t predict the 100% correct results but an approximate percentage only. According to the results of the survey, AAP is heading towards victory with approx. 45% of the voted. Arvind Kejriwal has proved to be the most popular leader among the people of Punjab and if this continues, AAP is going to make history in Punjab also. I’m sure you must not have forgotten the record-breaking win of AAP in Delhi elections. It is possible that same may happen in Punjab also.

Conclusion:

We can come to a conclusion by the reviews only. After all, every party is a winner for themselves. There is no surprise that the chances of winning of AAP are more than any other party. The reason is clear that in the rule of SAD-BJP (Badal’s government), a lot of crime and corruption has increased and ‘Udta Punjab’ has put on oil to the fire. People are already very angry and hence they are searching for a new leader with new aspirations and aims. No Doubt, Arvind Kejriwal perfectly fits into the requirement and he is very famous especially among the youth. The news of ‘Navjot Singh Sidhu’ joining AAP has also given immense popularity to the party but it is not yet confirmed and Arvind Kejriwal has not even announced the candidate for the position of Chief Minister. For final results, we still have to wait and see. This is politics and anything can happen at any time. May the best party wins and works for the welfare of the society.
