"Secret of Aamir khan's Diet"
Bollywood actor Amir Khan is well-known for his perfectionism. No matter what, he gives his 100% in almost everything. He has proved this many a times by showing his utter dedication.
Amir Khan shared his body transformation in his latest work “Dangal”. According to him, the three most important things that lead to healthy living are exercise, balanced diet and rest. He said that when anyone starves, the body actually stores fat. Instead he ate small meals to increase his body metabolism. Including eggs, grilled meat, green leafy vegetables, protein shakes, nuts etc. to the diet can help maintain health.
Dangal is a sports drama by Nitesh Tiwari. Amir Khan gained about 25 kgs in 6 months for his role in it. The director had given Amir an option to wear body suit. But the actor chose to gain weight first and then shed extra pounds for his younger part in the film. According to Amir, putting on weight was fun as he could eat all the time and whatever he wanted. But it affected his wrestling training as he could not move faster with the weight and changes in breathing. Infact his whole body language changed, the way of walking, sitting, standing and so on.
During this body transformation, Amir was not sure that he will be able to do it, he got discouraged at many points of time. At a point, he thought that it was a big mistake and had given up as he had to reach till 97 kgs with 38% fat. But he tried very hard to get rid of these negative thoughts by taking one step at a time. Amir considers diet as main component in transforming anyone’s body. One cannot achieve desired results if strict diet is not followed. His diet varied from 1800 – 2500 calories. He has achieved these major transformations for his movies like Ghajini (2008), 3 idiots (2009), Dhoom 3 (2013) and Dangal (2016).
Body transformation is no piece of cake. It requires great courage, skill and strength, which is shown by superstar Amir Khan. This is one of the reasons why he has great fan following. He is true inspiration for everyone.
Amir khan's diet plan for Dangal movie was as bellow :-
Meal 1. at 4 AM- 1 Whole Egg Omelette with sprinkling of onion, tomato, Coriander & green chilli.
Meal 2. at 6 AM- 1 Flat scoop protein shake.
Meal 3. at 8 AM- 150 grams fruits(except Banana)
Meal 4. at 10 AM- 50 gram poha with sprinkling of onion, tomato, Coriander & green chilli.
Meal 5. at 12 AM- 1 Slice Of bread & 100 grams Tuna.
Meal 6. at 2 PM(Lunch)- 200 grams of vegetables, 50 grams Rice, 15 grams daal & 200 grams slim curd.
Meal 7. at 4 PM- 150 grams fruits(except Banana)
Meal 8. at 6 PM- 1 Slice Of bread & 100 grams Tuna.
Meal 9. at 8 PM(Dinner)- 200 grams of vegetables, 50 grams Rice, 15 grams daal & 200 grams slim curd.
Amir khan's diet plan for Dangal movie was he used to have whole eggs for breakfast, green leafy vegetables with meat for lunch, and grilled meat with salad on the side for dinner. In between, he used to munch on nuts and drink protein shakes, especially before a workout, and drink at least 3-4 litres of water.
