There are several signs of bad parenting. Parents are first teacher of a child.

Here are some signs of bad parenting -

1. Avoiding and neglecting your child.
   Neglecting him physically or emotionally is more than an abuse. Making your child feel that he is worthless can affect his mental development. A child needs to feel love. Too much pampering may also spoil a child
2. Verbal abuse.
   Verbal abuse can damage the child psychologically. He may develop inferior complexity due to this type of abuse. Many children are victims of this kind of abuse. Punishment is required but not extensive punishment. Child requires hugs, kisses and other type of affection.
3. Encouraging bad behavior in children.
   There are many parents who encourage bad behavior in their child. They turn blind eye to this kind of behavior. If you are using abusive words in front of the children, that is also not good.
4. Partiality.
   Some parents complain a lot about their own children with others. This is also a bad sign. Comparing own children with others also can be very damaging.
5. Forcing choices.
   Some parents are very demanding. They force their children to fulfill their dreams. This may give adverse effects.
6. Too much stinginess.
   Parents should not to be too stingy. This may encourage the child to indulge in stealing. At the same time, they should not be too liberal. Children may not learn the value of money.
7. Not trusting the child.
   Some parents believe other children, more than their children.
