While we have laws to protect animals but killing cows for their skin is perfectly legal. The condition of the most slaughter houses is shabby. Often the cows are tortured before killing, like breaking their tail or putting chilies in their eyes. Often the poor blade conditions lead to prolonged suffering before the cow dies. Banning leather is also good for environment. To be called a civilized society we must stop killing of animals.

While it is overwhelming and difficult for most of us to watch these videos but most of us don’t have problem in using the leather product, which is prime reason to kill these animals.
