Did You Wish Your Doctor A Happy Doctor's Day Today?

Did you wish your doctor today? It's National Doctor's Day, after all; a day dedicated to those who are next to God for us when it comes to saving our lives.

Why july 1 is celebrated as doctors day?

Being a doctor is unlike any other profession; they are nothing short of God for people. July 1 is celebrated as National Doctor’s Day in India in honor of a man who was a noted freedom fighter and the second chief minister of West Bengal.

Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy played a very significant role in bringing proper medical facilities to people in need, especially women. He was completely dedicated to his work and despite being a full-time doctor, often played the role of a nurse for patients in need. One of the most well-known medical centers he established was the Chittaranjan Seva Sadan in 1926.

He worked hard to make women comfortable enough to visit his medical center as they were reluctant at first and later even trained them in nursing and social work. His diligence and compassion are the sole reason Doctor's Day came into existence. This day recognizes and celebrates the hard work and dedication of those who work day and night to keep us healthy and free of all diseases. We express our heartiest thanks to these noble men and women who have always been committed to keeping us in the best of health. Doctors Day wishes to every doctor not just in the country but all over the globe.
