All of us, as individuals have our own journeys, accomplishing various things and going through different life experiences in life. What is important to realize is that we all go through multiple highs and lows in life. Life is never all about either only bad things or just good things; it is always a balance of the good and the bad. But, it is strange that we tend to let the failures impact us in such ways that we begin to have a set of negative beliefs which makes it impossible for us to move ahead in life. The fear of not being good enough is one such example. This stems from the impact of our negative experiences and our failures.
One should keep in mind that our capability to achieve heights and to have the life that we dream of cannot be changed by the failures and negative experiences that are a part of our life. Failures make us strong and prepare us for the road ahead. Failures are the reason why we learn crucial lessons that help us to become a stronger individual. Failures are the life events that change us for good; they create the fuel within us to make things happen. They are certainly not the reason why we need to develop the fear of not being good enough.

Irrespective of how we choose to go about life, it is not possible for us to make sure not to encounter negative incidents in our life. They are a part of life and we are all familiar with the fact that if we have joy we also have sorrow. One should have a strong emotional foundation that can help us to effectively deal with all the difficulties that life throws at us.
We all keep looking for an acknowledgment for who we are from people all around us, but we do not understand the idea that we are the ones who need to have faith in ourselves and look for approval from outside. Please understand the fact that you need to know that you are good enough no matter what, no matter how bad you goof up and no matter how many times things go wrong, you are at all times good enough. If you have lost faith in your own abilities and are fearful of the fact that you are not good enough for all the dreams and aspirations you have, here are some of the things you can do to get rid of the fear of not being good enough.
#1. Make Peace With Old Failures
We do not focus on letting go of the past and the ability to heal our wounds that we have derived from our past negative experiences and keep going ahead in life carrying them like baggage that keeps restricting us forever. Most often the reasons why we keep feeling the fear of not being good enough is because of the memory of the negative experiences and the failure we have encountered before in our life. This is essential because we have not made peace with them. They keep acting as a trigger for our fear and self-doubt. We need to delve into our past and try to figure out what we learned from the situation and why we went wrong. The moment we can do that we can easily forget what took place and let go of the baggage of blame and unhappiness we have been carrying around. Now we know that we do not need to repeat the mistake and do better next time to get a better result.

#2. Learn From Your Past What Went Wrong
When you can turn your failures into lessons you will be able to take life to another level; you are going to be able to make the most of all that takes place in your life. The main reason why anyone fears that they are not good enough is because they are afraid of repeating the failures that they have made before. They are afraid of facing the same situation again. But, when you take a lesson from what took place before, you can improve with immediate effect. You will be able to do better next time.
#3. Stop Blaming Yourself
The most important thing that we forget to take into consideration is the ability to stop blaming and beating up on our self. We need to practice self-love and the ability to forgive ourselves. Please understand the fact that when you do something wrong, you do so because you are not aware, or not well informed or you do not have the required knowledge for the best performance. But, that does not mean you should stop trying.
If you do not forgive yourself, you will not be able to move ahead. The only way you can get of the fear of not being good enough is by making it a point to improve yourself. If you cannot move on from the past mistake, you will not be able to focus on improving yourself.

#4. Believe In Your Capabilities
An essential thing, in this case, is to make it a point that you choose to believe in yourself first. No matter what others say and how your life has panned out if you choose to believe that you can work towards making it better, no one can stop you. Remember that when you believe in yourself, you will no longer need others to tell you are good enough and their opinion about you will not impact your decisions.
#5. You Do Not Need To Be Perfect Before You Start
You need to understand that you do not need to be perfect before you start doing something or before you start working towards any goal. You will get better at it as you keep working on it. You will need to start in order to be able to progress. If you do not start working towards your goal, you will not get better at it. So, don’t let the fear stop you, just start anyway and you will get better along the way.
