DWU stands for “Don’t wait up”. Mostly used as short form of don’t wait up during texting people or on most social media platforms.
DWU essentially means, asking a person to not wait, as you might be late. It can also be applied for asking someone to not look forward to going somewhere with you, as you choose to do something else.
